  • African Energy Week 2023 – Call for technical papers

The African Energy Week technical papers program is now underway. Energy specialists across the globe are invited to submit papers to be delivered at this year’s prestigious event, organized by the African Energy Chamber in partnership with Afreximbank, in Cape Town, South Africa, 16-20 October 2023.

Successful applicants will be welcomed in Cape Town to present their papers in front of a top-tier audience of energy experts, decision-makers, and key players in the African energy sector.

The event’s goals are to discuss, debate and find solutions to the sector’s most pressing issues, as well as to grow the talent pool and roster of experts passionate and knowledgeable about all things energy-related. To that end, organizers will provide successful applicants with ample opportunities to connect, network, and access the brightest and most influential minds in the field.

Submit your abstract to technicalpaper@localhost by 14 April 2023. Successful applicants will be contacted. We advise that the abstract be no more than 300 words and the Paper should not exceed 3,000 words.

African Energy Week is the continent’s leading energy summit gathering stakeholders from across the energy sectors including energy experts, academia, government and regulators, executives, investors and SMEs. The event represents the cornerstone of a wider and ambitious movement to make energy poverty history by 2030.
