Mrs. Claudine MANGA is a prominent leader in Cameroon’s energy sector with 30 years of experience at the Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH), the NOC of Cameroon. Recruited in 1996 as one of the corporation’s first female technical E&P engineers, she has built an exemplary career spanning technical operations, corporate governance, and executive management. As Coordinator of Exploration and Production Activities and Head of the Douala Branch, she drives Cameroon’s upstream, midstream, and industrial transformation agenda. She chairs the Cameroon Oil and Gas Contract Negotiation Commission and SNH’s Internal Tender Board for Oil and Gas Operations, and heads the Cameroon E&P Unitization Committee for the strategic cross-border Yoyo-Yolanda gas field development (Cameroon-Equatorial Guinea). A champion of energy transition and local value retention, Mrs. MANGA leads the landmark RG2D-NUBIATECH Initiative, an ambitious vision converting natural gas resources into clean energy, digital infrastructure (Gas-to-Data), integrated eco-industrial zones, and heritage and coastal conservation. Beyond the energy sector, she serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Chanas Assurances, combining deep technical expertise with corporate governance leadership. Mrs. MANGA holds a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology from Oklahoma State University (USA), a Postgraduate Degree (DEA) in Geology from the University of Yaoundé (Cameroon), and an MBA from ULCO (France).
