Denilson Francisco
Denilson Josemir da Silva A. Francisco is Business Development Director at Copia Group of Companies (CGC), the Angolan engineering, supervision and technology group that leads the consortium supervising the 2,172 MW Caculo Cabaça hydroelectric project and develops the COPIA Seis, DynamicSim and Quasar software suite. An energy mechanical engineer with a Master's degree in Renewable Energy, he helped build Angola's solar and energy-storage market across the residential, commercial and industrial and utility-scale segments, including the technical leadership of the commissioning of the 35 MWp Quilemba solar plant, and has delivered digital and cybersecurity solutions to oil and gas, mining, government and banking clients. At CGC he leads the Group's growth in supervision and inspection, oil and gas, mining, software and energy, and its expansion across Southern Africa. At AEW 2026 his focus is on partnerships in advanced inspection and asset integrity, QA/QC for geosciences and offshore seismic operations, and AI-driven software for seismic interpretation and reservoir simulation.
