Filippo Bof is Head of Business Development for Shell Trading across Africa and Latin America, where he is responsible for originating and developing trading, structured finance, and logistics opportunities, working with governments, national oil companies, independent producers, and financial institutions across some of the world's most dynamic energy markets. With more than two decades of experience spanning trading, business development, shipping, and upstream operations, Filippo has held senior commercial roles across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Prior to his current position, he served as Trading and Commercial Manager at Shell Nigeria, overseeing crude trading activities across West Africa and strengthening the commercial integration between Shell's upstream and downstream businesses.

Before joining Shell, Filippo spent almost ten years with ENI in a range of international assignments, including trading positions in Amsterdam and London and upstream roles in Nigeria, where he managed export and shipping operations. Filippo holds a degree in Economics from the University of Padua, completed an exchange programme at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and earned a Master's degree in Management and Economics of Energy and the Environment (MEDEA) in Milan.
