Higino Fernandes is the Director of Renewable Energy at SonaGás Energias Renováveis, a company within the Sonangol Group. With approximately 30 years of professional experience, he has built a multidisciplinary career in the energy sector, having held several leadership positions at Sonangol and Sonangol Exploration & Production in the areas of project management, studies and engineering, asset management, and operational support.

He currently focuses on the development of renewable energy and the energy transition in Angola, participating in national and international forums on energy, innovation, decarbonisation, and electric mobility.
