Johanna is ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada‘s Lead Country Manager and Chairperson effective June 1st, 2026, based in Maputo. Previously, she was the ExxonMobil Papa New Guinea (PNG) affiliate’s Development Manager, responsible for leading PNG’s expansion projects. Johanna started working for Esso, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, in 1994 as a Reservoir Engineer then a Drilling Engineer. After that, she undertook multiple management roles across Australia, PNG, North America and Russia including, Australia Commercial Director with responsibility for marketing, analytics and commercial project activities, Manager leading the negotiations to form a Joint Venture with Rosneft for development within the Russian Arctic and North American Gas Processing and Transportation Manager. Johanna has a Chemical Engineering degree from RMIT University in Australia
