Kamel KONÉ is an Ivorian entrepreneur and energy executive, serving as Chief Executive Officer of HYDRODRILL SA, an oilfield services company active in Côte d’Ivoire and across West and Central Africa.

Under his leadership, HYDRODRILL has developed capabilities in well intervention and production services, including slickline, wireline, wellhead maintenance, well testing and production optimisation, while building partnerships with international operators and service companies.

He is also President of GESPETROGAZ-CI, the association representing Ivorian oil and gas service companies. In this role, he works to strengthen local content, improve access to financing, develop national champions and foster partnerships between African companies and international industry players.

Kamel KONÉ regularly contributes to discussions on Africa’s energy development, industrialisation and the role of local companies in building competitive energy value chains. He advocates for stronger African technical capacity, regional cooperation, technology transfer and greater participation of African companies in major energy projects.
