Karl Fredrik Staubo is the Chief Executive Officer of Golar Management Ltd., a position he has held since May 2021. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Golar LNG from September 2020 and as Chief Executive Officer of Golar LNG Partners LP from May 2020 to April 2021.

Karl Fredrik brings more than a decade of experience advising and investing in the shipping, energy and infrastructure sectors. Before joining Golar, he spent 10 years with Magni Partners Ltd. and Clarksons Platou Securities, where he held senior roles in corporate finance and investment banking, including Head of Shipping, Investment Banking.

During his tenure at Magni Partners, he also served as an advisor to the Golar Group. At Clarksons Platou Securities, his work focused on corporate finance within the shipping sector.

Karl Fredrik holds a Master of Arts in Business Studies and Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
