Leste Aihevba, a seasoned Oil and Gas Executive with over 35 years of experience, began his E&P career with Shell International Exploration and Production Co. where he spent 20 years in roles of increasing responsibility in Nigeria, the Netherlands, Oman, and the USA. Post Shell, he has held Senior Technical and Leadership roles America as Well Integrity Technical Authority-2 with BP America; Head of Petroleum Engineering with Cairn E&P, India; Global SME for  Upstream Digital Transformation with BHGE USA; MD/CEO with Energia, Nigeria and Senior Consultant to the CEO with KOC, Kuwait. 

With several industry firsts to his credit, (including the first-ever TAML-6S multilateral, the first-ever ESS installation in a horizontal well, and the first-ever combination of swellable packers and ICVs in a 5-legged MultiLateral well), he is currently the Chief Technical Officer for Asharami Energy, a Sahara Upstream company, with responsibility for group wide technical, operational and management aspects of increasing the company's equity production to over 350 Kbopd, Gas Monetization, Energy Transition and Sustainability. 

A member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE), he graduated from the University of Benin with a First-Class honors degree and holds an MBA from the Colorado Technical University, CO, USA.
