With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, Magali PAILHE currently is the Managing Director for TotalEnergies Exploration & Production and Renewables South Africa. She has previously held senior roles across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East with TotalEnergies, spanning economics, negotiations, strategy, investor relations and business management. This diverse and extensive experience gives her a global perspective on energy development and a strong knowledge of international best practices. 

Magali is also the chairperson of the Offshore Petroleum Association of South Africa (OPASA), where she provides strategic leadership to the industry collective of upstream companies holding exploration and/or production rights offshore South Africa.

Born and raised in France, Magali is a graduate of ESSEC Business School in Paris, where she completed an MBA.
