Coordinator for Economic Evaluations of Petroleum Concessions ANPG

Mauro Lima has more than seven years of experience in the economic evaluation of petroleum concessions and negotiation processes within
Angola’s oil and gas sector. He began his professional career in 2011 at Sonangol, where he served as a Contracts Management Technician from 2011 to 2014. He subsequently held the position of Bidding and Negotiation Planning Technician from 2014 to 2019.

Following the establishment of the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG), he joined the institution in 2019, continuing to perform the same role
until 2023. In 2024, he was appointed Coordinator for Economic Evaluations of Petroleum Concessions, where he leads economic and financial assessments
of strategic projects within the oil and gas sector. Throughout his career, he served as a permanent member of Angola’s Oil and Gas Reserves Committee, contributing to the evaluation and management of

The country’s petroleum resources. He is currently a permanent member of the Incremental Production Management Committee, a body of significant strategic importance to ANPG, responsible for promoting initiatives aimed at maximizing oil production and generating value for Angola’s energy sector. His professional experience combines technical, economic, and negotiation expertise, with active involvement in strategic decision-making processes related to petroleum resource management and the development of Angola’s energy industry.
