Neil McKenzie Operations Manager, Wood Group                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Neil is an Operations and Maintenance professional with a 20-year track record of delivering technical and operational solutions across upstream oil and gas assets. His experience includes asset integrity management, maintenance strategy, shutdown and turnaround execution, offshore operations, brownfield modifications, and late life asset management. In his current role within Wood's African O&M leadership team, Neil works closely with operators across the region to develop and implement operations and maintenance solutions that enhance reliability, technical integrity and production performance. His combination of operational experience and technical knowledge provides a practical perspective on the challenges facing both mature and developing energy assets With extensive operational experience gained through technical and leadership positions supporting major operators and independent oil companies, he has led multidisciplinary teams responsible for offshore production facilities, FPSOs and gas processing assets, with a strong focus on operational reliability, technical integrity and safe execution. Neil holds a BSc in Engineering Management, is a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and Project Management Professional (PMP). He remains passionate about helping asset owners improve performance, maximise uptime and develop resilient operations teams.
