Phindile C. Masangane

Phindile is the Group Executive: Programmes at the DBSA.

Phindile has over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector. She spent over 15 years working for the CEF Group of Companies with the last role being that of Chief Executive Officer of the national upstream oil and gas regulator, PASA. Phindile is a former partner at KPGM, where she led the infrastructure and energy advisory team. She spent a brief period as Vice-President: Policy & Regulation at Sasol.

Phindile has successfully led a number of energy infrastructure development projects including structuring and capital raising.

Phindile holds a PhD (Chemistry) from Imperial College, London; an MBA from the Wits Business School; and a BSC (Mathematics and Chemistry) from the University of Eswatini.
