Piper O’Keefe a Desk Officer for African Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Prior to this role, she worked on DOE's International Market Development team and was a Presidential Management Fellow in DOE’s Office of Policy and USAID's Center for Energy, Infrastructure, and Cities. Piper previously served three years in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone. She holds a Master of Public Policy in Global Affairs from Yale University’s Jackson Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies from Gettysburg College.
