Rudêncio Morais is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH), Mozambique's national oil company. He joined ENH in 2014 as an Exploration Geologist and has since held several senior leadership positions, including Executive Director for Exploration & Production and Chairman of the Mozambican Pipeline Company (CMG) and ROMPCO. With a Master's degree in Geological and Mining Engineering from the University of Coimbra and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Eduardo Mondlane University, Morais combines strong technical expertise with executive leadership. He is focused on accelerating Mozambique's LNG developments, expanding domestic gas utilization, strengthening local content, and ensuring the country's hydrocarbon resources drive sustainable economic and industrial growth. In addition to his corporate career, he is a published author and former university lecturer.
