Samuel Diminas is the Chief Executive Officer of Westpaq Group, a position he has held since 2016

At Westpaq, Diminas provides strategic leadership and services in the Energy sector. He is recognized for strong industry knowledge and leadership in complex upstream projects. 

He has led the company in forming strategic partnerships to secure and execute some of the most significant Major Capital EPC projects in Africa, such as the Alen Gas Monetization Project, a major offshore gas development in Equatorial Guinea operated by Chevron. The backfill project transports natural gas through a 70km subsea pipeline from the Alen platform to the onshore Punta Europa facility, where it is processed into liquefied natural gas (LNG). The Bonga North Project, a deepwater oil field development and major subsea tie-back to the existing Bonga FPSO, operated by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo). The project is one of SNEPCo’s most important projects, and a key part of Nigeria’s deepwater production growth. 

Diminas has built a diverse career spanning national oil companies (NNPC), IOCs (British Petroleum, England; Chevron, Houston, Texas, private consulting, and EPC. Known for bridging deep technical insight with commercial acumen, he has worked across Africa, Europe, and North America.
