During his outstanding career, he has successfully led acquisitions and transitions of upstream companies, demonstrating his ability to manage complex processes effectively. Specifically, Mr. Segismundo Nguema Nsue held the position of Chief Financial Officer for eight years at renowned companies such as Hess Equatorial Guinea and Kosmos Trident Energía E.G. In addition, he has a solid academic background. He holds a Master's degree in Finance and Sustainability and an MBA from the University of Cumbria, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His constant pursuit of knowledge has allowed him to stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in his field of expertise. Likewise, it is important to highlight that he is a founding partner and Managing Director of CIFORAL S.L, a consulting services company that provides comprehensive solutions in areas such as Forensic, Fiscal, and Tax Auditing, Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and Production Sharing Contracts (PSC), Organizational Structure Advisory, Business Management, Strategic Planning, and Inventory Management. By Presidential Decree No. 90/2023, dated June 23, he was appointed Director General of the National Gas Company of Equatorial Guinea (SONAGAS GE), a position he holds to date.
