ZAYED SUSTAINABILITY PRIZE: FUTURE ECONOMIES FORUM
For over two decades, the Zayed Sustainability Prize has backed the proof before the capital follows, funding innovators whose solutions work long before larger investors move, and building an impact record across the world's most resource-constrained conditions. That is Africa's missing piece: 850 terawatts of theoretical clean energy potential, yet only a fraction of what AI data-centres alone attracted in capital during 2025, not for lack of money, but for lack of validated confidence. Energy sovereignty means choosing which investment serves national strategy, and that choice only becomes possible once innovation has already proven its impact.
