Ministerial Roundtable: Powering Africa’s Electricity Additions
As Africa seeks to accelerate economic growth, industrialisation and the energy transition, expanding electricity generation and strengthening grid infrastructure have never been more critical. Hosted by the South African Department of Electricity and Energy, this ministerial roundtable will bring together energy ministers, financiers and private sector leaders to explore practical strategies for accelerating power generation, mobilising investment, and improving regional power integration. Discussions will focus on policy reforms, public-private partnerships and innovative financing models needed to deliver reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity across the continent.
