Roundtable: Powering Africa’s Electricity Additions

As Africa seeks to accelerate economic growth, industrialisation and the energy transition, expanding electricity generation and strengthening grid infrastructure have never been more critical. Hosted by the South African Department of Electricity and Energy, this leadership roundtable will bring together government and private sector leaders to explore practical strategies to accelerate power generation, investment, and improve regional power integration. Discussions will focus on policy reforms, public-private partnerships and innovative financing models needed to deliver reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity across the continent.
