Experience a unique and leisurely way to see the Groot Drakenstein Valley as you journey through rolling vineyards, stopping at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates. The itinerary covers up to three wine estates in the Groot Drakenstein Valley, each with a character as rich and individual as the wines they produce. At each wine estate, a premium wine tasting is served to the group showcasing their award-winning wines.

The journey commences with a wine tasting experience at the Plaisir Wine Estate, setting the tone for the day’s exploration. Following this, indulge in a delightful lunch at De Vliet Country Bistro, nestled within the enchanting Zorgvliet Wine Estate. Concluding the day is a final wine tasting at the prestigious Boschendal Wine Estate, ensuring a perfect finale to your vinous adventure.

World of Birds & Constantia Wine Tasting

The excursion kicks off with a tour of Africa’s largest bird park and wildlife sanctuary. More than 3,000 birds (along with small animals) representing 400 different species are thoughtfully displayed in over 100 expansive landscaped aviaries. These aviaries create an immersive experience, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with nature.
Nestled in the picturesque Hout Bay Valley, the aviaries are situated in a tropical garden spanning 4 hectares of land. This lush setting is framed by Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, Constantiaberg, Chapman’s Peak, and Little Lion’s Head.
