We talked about Energy Week, but actually it's the energy of how many people are here. I'm not sure. Is it 3000, 3500? But the energy of all the discussions and from day one to where we are day three. So, one is energy. I think number two is just the sheer diverse nature and you've got everything from the governments and ministers and presidents to the companies, the NOCs, to the private individuals, to educational and a good age range as wel!. So that diverse, inclusive nature. ,6,nd I think the other bit is enthusiasm.

African Energy Week being for me the premiere of Africa Summit that focuses on frontier nations, producing nations like yourself that gives us countries like Sierra Leone the platform to sell. Sell might not be the best word to use, but to market Sierra Leone to the world. I think it has been being exposed to network, being able to network with potential IOCs.

It's my second time. I've been here last year and I think I found the conference a very good conference. First, the quality of the panels and the different sessions is very key. But also, the networking around. I think what I found here is a conference where everyone meets from the oil and gas industry, but also from the ministry level, service companies and banks also. So, I think it's a way for us to meet and just to discuss around the opportunities.

it's been a great, great two days so far. Really excited. And the quality of the panels, the mix of companies. We've been able to meet ministers, even presidents. Last night, during dinner, I had a chance to talk to the president of Namibia, which is a new area with significant growth potential. The organizers did a really, really good job in selecting a good mix of international companies, mid to small-sized companies such as ourselves as well as government-side institutions. So, a lot of good meetings and we hope to live here with a lot more work and we want to come back next year.

I think it's going to be a very exciting meeting.

Look, the great benefits that this conference brings access to governments, access to a very wide audience. It's been fantastic to see how full the hall was this morning. So completely full to the brim, standing room only. We were very encouraged to continue to see how participation grows. And Angie mentioned this morning five years ago, the chamber was only 200 ,000 members and it's four million today. So that is really, really good to hear. So, we look forward to having more discussions, more meetings and shaking more hands and hopefully doing more deals.

We are very proud of our partnership with the African Energy Chamber. It is a pleasure for me to be able to collaborate with NJ Ayuk. I've known him for a couple of years, and I believe he is a force of nature. And basically, anything that we can do to support the goals of the African Energy Chamber is very important.

Such conference It's very important because it brings together all involved people gives them an opportunity to know last news to exchange some opinion, to exchange some views to hear each other what it's possible to do for African energy needs

I think this is a great event because it brings together the authorities in a number of countries and the companies big and small. So, I think over the next few days, I mean, there's a good opportunity to meet. I'll personally will meet with a number of the representatives from the countries in which we operate, I'll meet with a number of other companies here as well.

first of all, is that this is a great forum. It's Africa for Africans. Yeah, we have, you know, invitees and all of that, but it's the biggest forum where, you know, you touch the Angolan, you touch the Mozambican, you touch, you feel warm. And that's very energizing, since we're talking about energy. That's very energizing. 12:28 I personally have gained a lot just

I've got to speak from the perspective that this is the third African Energy Week I've had the opportunity to attend. And having observed from the first I attended in 2021 and last year, this year, I appreciate that even the conversations that occur have a follower. And I think it's again the genuine drive to utilize this opportunity to where Africans are conversing with fellow Africans to take forward generally the solutions that have been arrived at. So, I think that for me must be highlighted with the actual implementation and progression of those particular agreements that have been established. It also makes us realize that this Africa needs us to act and no one is going to do it for us. It reiterates that message and it's important. It's important to know that it is in our hands and we are capable.

This is my second Energy Week. Bigger and better than last year, so very well done to all of the organizers. It has been a wonderful, wonderful week, full of engaging sessions, presentations, panels. Fantastic side events, cocktails, receptions and I've really enjoyed learning more about how we can all collectively work together to end energy poverty in Africa. Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to Energy Week 2024.

I think what's important is for the first time as a scientist, I've got to see the link between investment and science and knowledge and all of these coming together. And I think this forum is a good place that all of these aspects can join together. And I think there may be an opportunity for more institutions, more schools, even like ourselves to come back and actually share the conceptions that the youth have about energy because I guarantee it's very different from what I'm learning at the conference.

Well, this is, I think, the third edition of African Energy Week. It's grown into a monster, it's really big, it's a very busy program. They could have even perhaps spread it over a longer time, you know, and still kept us all busy and interested. I've attended a few sessions, some plenaries, I've met with a lot of people. Conferencing for me is a combination of maintaining and growing networks, which is hugely important in this and every industry.

I really enjoyed the conference and I found the discussion very insightful. I think the African Energy Week has potential to grow. One of the things I think I enjoy, which we need to encourage, is the fact that it's bringing African countries in terms of private and public sector, so it's not just private sector during, but also the combination of both private sector and from different countries coming together to try to harness the potentials within Africa. And one of the things I was said by one of the speakers yesterday, which I found quite interesting, was the fact that African countries need to start having discussions around uniting and putting together in terms of standards for Africa. I'm impressed with the fact that the United States and Saudi Arabia were very well represented.

I would like to start by thanking NJ and the team for the wonderful organization of this event. This has been a good platform where I was able to leverage and engage with senior leaders in the oil and gas industry. The panels were very high quality, I was able to learn a lot, make loads of good contacts. See you next year.
