Adeleke is an accomplished legal professional with over 12 years of experience advising leading corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies on complex, high-value transactions across Africa; particularly in the energy, infrastructure, and financial services sectors. He currently serves as Director at CLG Nigeria, the Nigerian office of a leading pan-African energy advisory firm, where he manages the firm’s operations and leads legal counsel on regulatory compliance, project structuring, financing, corporate governance, risk management, and un-litigated dispute resolution. Adeleke has advised on numerous landmark transactions, including upstream and midstream oil and gas asset acquisitions, embedded power development, cross-border financings, and private equity investments. He is skilled in navigating evolving regulatory frameworks and aligning legal strategy with commercial objectives. Prior to joining CLG, Adeleke was a Partner in the Energy and Project Finance Group at the Nigerian office of Dentons, where he led legal support for clients at all business stages; from formation and capital raising to restructuring and divestment. Recognised by leading legal directories including IFLR1000, Adeleke combines deep sectoral knowledge with international experience. He recently enrolled in the Executive MBA programme at Lagos Business School to further deepen his leadership and commercial strategy skills, reinforcing his ability to deliver integrated legal and business solutions.
