Ademola Adeyemi-Bero is the Managing Director of First Exploration & Petroleum Development Company (First E&P), a leading Nigerian independent oil and gas company. With over three decades of experience in the energy sector, he has built a distinguished career spanning technical, commercial, and executive leadership roles across the upstream value chain.

Prior to joining First E&P, Adeyemi-Bero spent a significant part of his career at Shell, where he held senior positions in Nigeria and internationally, gaining extensive expertise in petroleum engineering, field development, and strategic planning.

At First E&P, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational success, including the development of key offshore assets such as the Anyala and Madu fields. Under his leadership, the company achieved first oil from these fields, marking a major milestone for indigenous participation in Nigeria’s upstream sector.
