Adeola Ogunsemi is the Group Chief Financial Officer, Oando Plc, and Chief Financial Officer of Oando Energy Resources with over experience working across innumerable roles in accounting and finance. Adeola worked in BP America for 5 years’ where he obtained his title as Assistant Controller. He has extensive experience in fund raising, mergers, acquisitions and divestment, joint venture management, financial reporting, process improvement, and internal control evaluation and design, as well as financial management. Prior to joining BP America, he worked for Northern Illinois Gas in Chicago, USA, for 4 years, where he rose in the ranks to become Head, Disbursement. He also worked for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and Midas International in Illinois, USA in accounting and treasury roles. Adeola obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University in Chicago in 2000. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for 22 years and is also an Associate Chartered Accountant in Nigeria for over 15 years.
