Alexander (Sandy) Merson has worked with Petrofac for almost 20 years, since graduating from the University of Aberdeen in 2001 with a BEng mechanical Engineering (Hons) with European Studies (French). Sandy began his career in the role of Operations Engineer and has worked in Romania, Mexico and as Offshore Shift Team Leader on the Kittiwake Alpha rig in the North Sea. As he has progressed his career with Petrofac, he has been promoted numerous times - from Mechanical Engineer to Operations Manager, to Operations Director. Sandy now holds a leadership position as Senior Vice President of the Asset Solutions business
