Buba Bajo has nearly a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field. He holds double master's degrees: one in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Leeds in the UK, and another in Industrial Engineering from Yuan Ze University in Taiwan. Additionally, Buba earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of The Gambia. From 2017 to 2021, Buba successfully managed numerous projects under the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy as a Principal Petroleum Officer. In his current role as Director of Resource Management at the Petroleum Commission, Buba leads the Geology & Geophysics (G&G) team and is responsible for overseeing all petroleum exploration, development, and production licenses, as well as geophysical service agreements, with the policy objective of discovering hydrocarbons.
