Dr. Bolaji Ogundare is the Group Executive Director (Corporate Strategy) for the Pan Ocean Oil Corporation and Newcross group of companies. He is also a Founding Partner and Director of Carbon Limits (Nigeria).   He sits on the board of several companies committed to aligning with contextual adaptation of sustainable developmental goals in their objectives; technology firms in the health, financial and energy sectors; and sustainable agro- business. He guides Pan Ocean/Newcross companies’ business growth strategy towards being an integrated indigenous energy company focused on reserve addition across assets from early exploration to production while also exploring strategic energy interests in non-fossil fuel energy. Recently, he was central to the set up of NewX Energy resources. A subsidiary of Newcross group focused on developing opportunities in the non-fossil fuel energy industry. Also within the organization, he was central to the set up of the research and data analytics center focused on making the organization more- data guided in all activities. His in-depth knowledge and years of experience guide the team at carbon limits in providing solutions on clean energy utilization and carbon assessment of projects for governments, public and private organizations.   His professional career spans over 20 years. Upon completing his advanced education and Board Certification as an attending Physician/ Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York University, Bolaji transitioned to the Energy Sector, leading Newcross Petroleum at the executive management level. He has attended numerous programs and workshops in corporate strategy, leadership, and business advisory. His current focus is on building integrative ecosystem for energy companies to meet future energy trends.
