Dr. Obinna Ezeobi is the Acting General Manager, Corporate Communications at NCDMB. He joined the Board in 2010 and rose through the ranks to lead its communications strategy, media relations, and stakeholder engagement. He holds a PhD in Energy Communications from the University of Port Harcourt, with earlier degrees in Mass Communication (UNN) and Communication Studies (UniPort). Before NCDMB, he worked as a journalist with Punch Newspapers and New Age. Dr. Ezeobi is known for shaping NCDMB’s media platforms, crisis communication policies, and major campaigns such as the Nigerian Content Tower launch. He is also the author of Nigeria’s Local Content: A Journey of Strategic Communication and Economic Transformation (2025). A member of NIPR and ARCON, he is recognized for his expertise in energy communications and strategic PR.
