Dr. Victor Ekpenyong is a leading African energy executive, petroleum engineer, and Founder/CEO of Kenyon International, a company at the forefront of well intervention and production optimization in Nigeria’s upstream sector. He has completed executive education at Harvard Business School, Oxford’s Saïd Business School, Lagos Business School, Strathmore Business School, and other prestigious institutions, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership.

Under his leadership, Kenyon International has delivered high-impact well intervention solutions, controlled critical well emergencies, reactivated brownfield assets, and deployed indigenous technologies that have contributed an estimated 20–30 million barrels to Nigeria’s oil output while strengthening local capacity.

Beyond the energy sector, Dr. Ekpenyong is Founder of the Victor and Helen Foundation, through which he champions education, security, and community development initiatives. His interventions include scholarships, school upgrades, rural electrification, and the Dr. Victor Ekpenyong African Regional Student Scholarship, which supports SPE-registered students across Africa.

He serves on the African Advisory Board of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is widely recognized as an advocate for indigenous capacity development, innovation, and sustainable industry growth. His leadership has earned both national and international recognition, including the Africa Legacy Leadership Award from SPE International.
