Eng. Mohamed H. Atef is the Chief Commercial Officer for Africa at Elsewedy Electric (since 2018), overseeing commercial operations across five business sectors in nearly 40 African countries. He previously spent 17 years at Alkan CIT, where he rose to CEO of Africa, managing 13 entities and a steel manufacturing company. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from Ain Shams University and an MBA in Global Management from ESLSCA. Notably, he has led regional expansion projects and recently signed an MoU with Desert Technologies to boost renewable energy exports and local content in Africa and the Middle East.
