Gift Lubele
Gift Lubele is an AI entrepreneur, technologist, and creative innovator building at the intersection of artificial intelligence, African music, and economic development. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Auraa Africa, an AI-powered African music creation platform addressing the systemic underrepresentation of African sound in global AI training data, with 1,500+ AI-generated tracks, and ~700K Spotify streams to date.
Gift also serves as AI Lead and Business Growth Specialist at YIEDI (Youth Innovation Entrepreneurship Design Institute), a Level 1 B-BBEE enterprise development consultancy, where he leads AI platform development and programme delivery for corporate clients including IBM, Nedbank, Standard Bank, and Mr Price Foundation.
Previously, he co-founded Kudoti, a Google- and Techstars-backed waste-tech SaaS platform that scaled across six African markets to a ~$3M valuation, tracking 2M+ kg of waste with partners including Nestlé and Distell.
Gift holds an MBA in AI & Data Analytics from Hult International Business School and has been recognised as a BRICS Young Innovator Prize recipient, World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and TEDx speaker. He is also a professional DJ and Amapiano artist, creator of South Africa's first AI-generated Amapiano album, featured on Podcast and Chill with MacG.
