Hon. Tom Alweendo is the founder and CEO of Alvenco Advisory. His career in public service spans leadership as Deputy Governor and Governor of the Bank of Namibia, where he oversaw the creation of the Namibia Dollar, banking system reforms, and the Financial Intelligence Centre. He later served as Director General of the National Planning Commission, drafting NDP4 to drive growth and employment. As Minister of Mines and Energy (2018–2025), he promoted competitiveness, value addition and responsible resource development, overseeing major oil and gas discoveries. He holds a B.Com from Wits University and an MBA from the University of Wales.
