Currently serving as Business Development Director for Africa and Sustainability Ambassador at SBM Offshore, He leads strategic market expansion and onshore development for offshore products across the African continent. Throughout his career, Ousmane Aidara has held senior roles leading supply chain department across Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, China), driving cost estimating, commercial roles and sustainability in complex industrial settings.Ousmane Aidara holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Energy Economics from ENSIACET and IFP School (French Institute of Petroleum). Fluent in French, English, and Wolof, he brings a strong commitment to sustainable development, local content, and cross-continental collaboration in the energy transition. Ousmane Aidara, is also deeply committed to social impact as the founder of Energie SENEGAL, a professional network for Senegalese energy experts, and KARMALA, a humanitarian association supporting students in Casamance.
