Richard Migeon has been with TotalEnergies for more than 30 years. He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris and a petroleum engineering degree from the French Institute of Petroleum in Paris. He joined the Group in 1993 as a petroleum engineer based in Scotland. After spending a few years in the technical centre in France and 10 years abroad (in Nigeria, Indonesia, and Russia), where he occupied various technical positions related to well performance, geosciences, planning, and development, he returned to Paris in 2007 to be in charge of the geosciences evaluation of new business opportunities located in the Americas. From 2010 to 2013, he was the Deputy Vice President Reserves for the Company. Afterwards, he joined the team of E&P negotiators before moving to the M&A team at the Holding level as a Project Director. From 2016 to 2022, he was the Vice President Strategy for the E&P branch. Since the summer of 2022, he has joined the Committee of Directors of TotalEnergies EP Angola as Business & Strategy Director.
