Ross co-founded Welligence Energy Analytics in 2017 and is the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Welligence now has offices in over ten countries across five continents, providing global upstream and CCUS research coverage to E&Ps, investment banks, service companies, consultancies, and buyside clients. The company has raised close to US$45 million in equity financing to continue the growth of its upstream product suite. Prior to Welligence, Ross worked in the energy private equity group at Warburg Pincus, in research at Wood Mackenzie, where he led the company’s upstream research expansion into Latin America, and in the finance group at Nexen Petroleum. He is a regular speaker at major global industry conferences across Africa, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, including several keynote addresses. Ross holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
