Stefano Marani is the CEO and Managing Director of Renergen Limited, a South African renewable energy company specializing in natural gas and helium. He co-founded Kigeni Holdings and played a pivotal role in developing Renergen’s Virginia Gas Project, pioneering natural gas use in heavy-duty vehicles in South Africa. Marani began his career in banking, working in derivatives marketing and capital raising at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley across New York, London, and Johannesburg. He holds a BSc in Actuarial Science and an Honours in Advanced Mathematics of Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. Known for his flat organizational structure and open-door leadership style, he emphasizes delegation, responsibility, and growth.
