Mr Velaphi Ntuli has over 24 years of diverse experience in the energy industry. He is the Chief Nuclear Officer at Eskom Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Stellenbosch and a Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Physics, Engineering and Safety of Nuclear Power Reactors) from the University of Witwatersrand He spent over two years at the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) as a Technical Manager based in Atlanta, USA. During this period, he qualified as a Equipment Reliability lead reviewer and has conducted technical performance assessments and support missions at various nuclear power plants around the world including Japan, Belgium, China, Romania, Ukraine and the United States of America.
