Technical Site Visit 1
The Hydrogen South Africa (HySA) Systems Integration & Technology Validation Competence Centre, is one of three national Competence Centres that were initiated by the Department of Science and Technology’s National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies (HFCT) Flagship Project. HySA Systems is an industry technology and prototype development-oriented Competence Centre, which has demonstrated on many occasions its ability to develop, build, commission and validate Energy systems.
The South African Renewable Energy Technology Centre (SARETEC) is the first national renewable energy technology centre in South Africa and has been established at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) – Bellville campus, Cape Town, South Africa. SARETEC expedites specialized industry-related and accredited training for the entire renewable energy (RE) industry including shortcourses and workshops.

This tour aims to provide participants with valuable insights into the operations, technologies, and opportunities within the ASEZ. We envision an informative and enriching experience that will contribute to the knowledge and networking
of all attendees.
